The Cringe Page
Welcome to The Cringe Page, my personal website! I work on a variety of stuff in my daily life, so I end up with a bunch of prototypes, devices, notes and other similar content. I aim to post it here - and develop a habit of documenting things I work on. There is not much going on at the moment, though - mostly because stuff I work on is always in work-in-progress stage, or serve some niche purpose that probably won’t interest other people. It’s hard to find energy and time both for designing things and keeping this online resource alive. Nice to see you here, anyway - and thanks for stopping by!
Things I worked on / working at:
Fixing water-damaged Mi Band 6 [repair overview]
A small note on repairing Xiaomi Mi Band 6 after severe saltwater damageBuilding a custom remote-controlled Lego tank
Using 3D printed parts and Bluetooth remote control solution to animate Sherman M4A3E2 tank from Cobi. Designed parts can be used with other kits or custom buildsSmart, Bluetooth-controlled cord light switch
A small device that you can attach to a desk lamp or a wall fixture and control it with your computer or phone. The idea was to sync up the lighting in my room with my TV box running LibreELEC - but this device can also be used for controlling other loads or appliances
Archive of things I found useful:
